Temporary Housing, Utility Assistance,
Rent Assistance, and More  

Eligibility for Housing Assistance

If you are a resident of Clark County Kentucky, are at risk of losing your home or apartment, are homeless and need assistance, or need assistance with a utility shutoff, you may qualify for financial assistance. We provide free housing assessments to determine eligibility for financial assistance and other services. 

 

If you would like to apply for assistance, please complete the application below or call 859-744-5034 ext. 2, and a member of housing will speak with you. You can also apply in person at 30 Taylor Ave, Winchester, Kentucky 40391.

Whether you have questions about the Housing Assistance Application or are interested in supporting the housing program, please contact our team via phone or email. Clark County Community Services values transparency and accountability in how we structure roles that serve the community. The Housing Director position currently held by Michelle Taylor is structured as an independent contractor role rather than a traditional employee. The work of the Housing Director requires specialized knowledge and flexibility that is best supported through a contractual agreement.
